I often feel as though I preach about the importance of Self Care and the truth of the matter is that it's because I need it most. We teach what we need most in our life.
Self Care includes any intentional act you take to care for your body, mind or spirit. It supports your physical, mental and emotional health and it's not a one time deal. It's a practice and we can make a conscious effort to do it every single day.
Being a recent stay-at-home mama and finding myself running a business from home has been amazing! It's also required me to find different ways to incorporate routine into my life and therefore more moments to pause for Self Care. When we take the time to nurture ourselves, we have the ability to show up with more presence, acceptance and ease for those that we surround ourselves with.
Sundays, in particular, have become my day to truly focus on Self Care. I used to dread Sundays as they lead into the full and heavy work week, but they have since become a day that I love. I am with my family and run into the coming week feeling supported, rejuvenated and excited about what lies ahead. Below are a few of my favorite ways to practice Self Care.
